Barcelona’s mayor, Ada Colau was the movement’s spokesperson before moving into institutional politics. It now has around 200 groups across Spain. The PAH was founded in Barcelona in 2009 in the aftermath of the financial crisis, which burst the Spanish housing bubble. The outgoing disobedient Catalan government is a peculiar mix of anti-austerity parties, which have supported the PAH’s fight for people’s housing rights, and the Catalan establishment party that has generally opposed it. This popularity of gathering en masse in disobedience to the central government has been inspired in large part by the anti-austerity efforts of one group: the Plataforma de Afectados por la Hipoteca or Platform for the Mortgage-Affected (PAH). How to Do the Work (2021) is a hands-on guide to healing our bodies and minds. In How to Do the Work, Dr LePera offers readers the support and tools that will allow them to break free from destructive behaviours to reclaim and recreate their lives. Unless addressed, these self-sabotaging behaviours can quickly become cyclical, leaving people feeling unhappy, unfulfilled, and unwell. Drawing on the latest research from both scientific research and healing modalities, Dr LePera helps us recognise how adverse experiences and trauma in childhood live with us, keeping us stuck engaging in patterns of codependency, emotional immaturity, and trauma bonds. In How to Do the Work, she offers both a manifesto for self-healing and an essential guide to creating a more vibrant, authentic, and joyful life. In addition I found the sound effects are unnecessary. The Bad Beginning is the first of thirteen novels in American author Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events. Unfortunately, not only was Olaf 'recast' but whoever replaced him was not nearly as good. I might have forgiven this if they had kept Curry's Count Olaf his performance as the sinister villain is in my opinion the definitive take on the character (it's a shame he was never able to portray the Count in live-action). Much of Curry's charm is lost in the omission. There are some audiobooks that benefit from full-cast recordings but this is not one of them. Tim Curry was a perfect narrator in the original book. The second, which is the only version available on Audible, retains Curry's narration but replaces the dialogue with different actors as well as adding sound effects throughout.
